The courses here provide the foundations for further learning. Our Progression to Learning and Work and Skills for Independence programmes are ideal for learners with learning difficulties or disabilities.

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) at Bradford College offers a dynamic and professional approach to language learning: speaking and listening, reading and writing. You can study either part time or full time.
Come and improve your English in a supportive and engaging environment, using the latest technology. Our highly qualified teachers will enable you to achieve a qualification in ESOL Skills for Life at an appropriate level and you will have the opportunity to progress to either our vocational or academic courses in the future.

Progression to Learning and Work
Our Progression to Learning and Work courses are a range of Entry Level and Level 1 courses in a variety of subjects which are designed for learners who have learning difficulties, disabilities or no qualifications.
Completing one of these courses will equip learners with the knowledge, learning skills, vocational training and confidence to either progress onto other Further Education courses, or onto a traineeship or employment.

Skills for Independent Living
Learn to complete day-to-day tasks by yourself if you have a disability or learning difficulty. Our tutors will help you get better at speaking, reading, writing and maths. You will learn how to take care of your own money, cook your own food and plan your own career. Be more sure of yourself and able to live an independent life.
